Charity Wagon Pull

This will be the team’s 26th sports, community and charity pulling event and this years monies raised will be shared between Cancer Research, the Samaritans and the Rawthey Project (a group helping and supporting our veterans who have fallen on hard times).

This pull is coming on the back of last October’s very successful Greyhound 4 ton minibus effort where they raised over £4500 for Sandgate School, Kendal. The team so far is made up from regular Sedbergh, Kendal & district supporters and well wishers, Network Rail staff from Carnforth depot, Wilson Builds building firm lads, and for the fourth time Sedbergh School lads rugby and lasses hockey teams. If you are a firm, buisness or company why not volunteer 6 employees to the team or sponsor them and get your name on all the online promoting sites or posters displayed throughout the region. The team already have Stramongate Press, Cumbria Kendal Scaffolding and Quiggins Kendal Mint Cake supporting their efforts.

We’ve all lost family, friends and loved ones to cancer, helped people when they’re rock bottom or seen our veterans struggling so please folks give your support again by pulling, walking with the team and getting your 24,000 steps in, sponsoring them via their Givewheel site or buying one of their raffle tickets when they’re out. This will be their biggest challenge yet but come on folks 3.5 hours of hard work and they will smash it again
