Sunday morning brings us to historical crime with Kate Ellis, expert on remains of all kinds as evidenced in her best-selling Wesley Peterson series and her WW1 novels, featuring Detective Albert Lincoln.
There’s Deborah Swift whose knowledge of poisons is positively alarming in her immensely popular series about the Italian poisoner, Giulia Tofana. Her recent WW2 spy novels are best-sellers – number 3, Operation Tulip, is just out.
Jean Briggs joins the panel to talk about her Charles Dickens mysteries, praised by those who’ve always loved Dickens and those who’ve just realised they do, and those who just like a good Victorian murder mystery.
Jason Monaghan’s thrilling Black Shirt series make him an ideal moderator.
