Female detectives presented by Fiona Veitch Smith whose Clara Vale series is at the top of the charts and Antony Johnston whose Dog-sitter detective series is charming dog lovers and crime lovers all over the place. And there’s Harry Navinski whose thoroughly modern, judo expert, Suzannah McLeod, tackles the dark and gritty underworld of Edinburgh.

Frances Brody, whose hugely popular female sleuth, Kate Shackleton, is on case number 14 – out next year – will shepherd The Good Shepherdesses panel.
