AnnaKate & Gwen are professional harpists who initially met while attending the Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama and studied with Karen Vaughan; at the time the co-principal harpist for the London Symphony Orchestra. Performing in orchestras together and being college friends it was only natural to continue working with each other and they formed a harp duo. In their careers they have played an array of venues in the UK and have been honoured to play for Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Scottish Opera, Scottish Chamber Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra & BBC2 Radio Folk awards 2015.
