2022 marks the 10th anniversary of Sedbergh International Summer School. There is much to celebrate as we reach this milestone. Over the last 10 years our summer school has developed from a short ‘course’ to a full and varied 6 week programme, welcoming over 1000 pupils from 40 nationalities. As demand for SISS has grown, so too has the range of activities and educational opportunities available. We are wholly committed to providing our pupils with an exceptional summer experience and this year we are delighted to announce the addition of a number of *NEW* courses to our summer programme including The Sedbergh Leadership & International Relations Academy for our older pupils and Cambridge English B1 Preliminary for our more junior pupils.
At Sedbergh, we are proud to boast a reputation that reflects over 500 years of tradition and heritage. We believe that the Sedbergh International Summer School experience is unique. We provide an exceptional education with outstanding pastoral care and numerous opportunities for our pupils to make connections with other pupils from around the world. From the moment they step off the plane to the moment they arrive home, our pupils are provided with countless opportunities to develop their English alongside those more ‘real life’ skills so important in today’s world. All of this is enhanced by our incredible location in the heart of the British Countryside.
We take great delight in watching our pupils grow, building resilience and ambition whilst encouraging their growing sense of self. Pupils experience new and exciting activities in a safe and secure environment, supported by our team of dedicated, enthusiastic staff. As we enter 2022 and celebrate 10 years of Sedbergh International Summer School, we look forward to sharing our school and our surroundings with you for another wonderful summer of fun and friendship.
