We’re sticking to the north with Frances Brody from Yorkshire, and Martin Edwards, whose Lake District Mysteries reveal the beauty and terror of this beloved landscape. And there’s Malcolm Hollindrake whose best-selling Harrogate series with DCI Cyril Bennett gives us a Harrogate as far from Betty’s scones and jam as you can get. Human flesh in honey jars?
