The 2023 Green Door Art Trail takes place from Friday 29 September to Sunday 1 October with artists opening their homes or studios, or exhibiting in our small group venues. This popular annual event, provided the opportunity to see an extensive and varied range of work from artists both contemporary and traditional.
Trail venues are found across South Cumbria from Kendal, down to Milnthorpe and then across to Lindale and Newby Bridge. Group venues are at the Athenaeum at Leasgill near Milnthorpe and Space2Create in Kendal.
The Trail is a showcase for members’ work across a wide range of disciplines including textiles, painting, printmaking, ceramics, stonewear, pastels and mixed media. It is the highlight of our year and an occasion to browse and buy a beautiful piece of unique art that is locally created. Also gorgeous cards and smaller items on sale too.
