Not only giving an understanding to how Wainwright produced these remarkable guidebooks but also the challenges of following in the master fell walker’s footsteps over all of the 214 fells. The resulting book won both the The Great Outdoors magazine “Outdoor Book of the Year” as well as the BBC Countryfile Magazine “Book of the Year”.
