Artisan Market

The Sedbergh Artisan Markets are community-based events specialising in art and crafts and a wide variety of local and regional food, all offered for sale by the artisans themselves. They are held one Saturday a month during the warmer months on the Main Street of this picturesque Cumbrian town in the Yorkshire Dales. They serve both locals and visitors with a treasure trove of eclectic stalls and are friendly and fun family events. 2025 will be the markets’ twelfth year.

Sedbergh Artisan Market Why not combine a visit to the market, a look in the town’s shops and a stroll along the River Rawthey or a more energetic walk up Winder Fell?

For lunch you can choose from one of the many excellent cafes and pubs in the town or try something delicious from a market stall.

The Artisan Markets are open from 9.30 am to 3 pm. The dates for 2025 are May 24th, June 28th, July 26th and August 23rd (Bank Holiday Saturday and SEDBERGH SHEEPFEST)

Pitch fees are competitive and we are always looking for traders with an exciting, high-quality idea. Gazebos and tables are available for hire.
