Armitt Museum and Library Book Shop – Ambleside

The Armitt shop is situated in the entrance to The Armitt museum based in Ambleside. Amongst other gifts and mementos are various second-hand books relating to the Lake District and surrounding area, as well as Beatrix Potter, rock climbing and mountaineering, and history. Visit the museum too for changing exhibitions on people and stories of the wider Lakeland world.
