Priscilla’s first novel ‘Killer on the Moors’ (originally ‘Winding up the Serpent‘), the first of her DI Joanna Piercy titles, was published in 1994, by Pan Macmillan. ‘Hold me Close‘, 17th in the series, set around the moorlands town of Leek, is due to be published in December 2026 by Severn House.

Priscilla has also written a series featuring Shrewsbury Coroner Martha Gunn and 5 titles set in the city of Stoke on Trent featuring forensic psychiatrist, Dr Claire Roget and also medical standalones dealing with such issues as the blurred line between sanity and insanity, the arrogance of a surgeon and the difficulties faced by a female G.P.

She has retired from nursing and has two sons and two grandsons.
