The first Christie novel appeared in 1996 while Nick was still a serving police officer in Lancashire Constabulary, followed by a further 7 in the series before he retired in 2005 with the rank of Inspector to become a fulltime writer.
Nick is Lancashire born and bred and was recently delighted to be included in the list of 50 great Lancashire Authors when Lancashire County Council commemorated 50 years since its formation. He lives with his wife Belinda on the outskirts of Preston.
