Spend a day with Anna learning about tapestry weaving and create something inspired by the area around Farfield Mill and visit the Waterline exhibition of handwoven tapestry.
Anna will share her skills and expertise of tapestry weaving to guide you through the step-by-step process of creating your own small tapestry. Anna uses a huge variety of yarns, including locally sourced wool and some unusual natural materials.
Looms will be warped up and ready to go.
There is also the option to buy a tapestry frame should you decide to continue weaving after the workshop day. (£10 or £22).
