Meet the ‘Sheep’

Wander along Sedbergh’s streets to look for ‘sheep’ hidden in nooks and crannies. The main ‘flock’ will be on the grass at St Andrew’s church. Winner to be announced 3pm at St Andrew’s.

Livestock display

Meet real sheep and other livestock at Rural Links’ Field to Fork roadshow. Learn about different breeds and the importance of farming.

British Wool Fair

Come up to the People’s Hall 10-4pm and stock up with beautiful knitting yarn and woolly products from local producers who can tell you about the wool and where it’s come from.

Exhibitions

History of Wool exhibition by Sedbergh’s History Society. Find out about the importance of our uplands commons and the role of farmers from the Foundation for Common Land at St Andrew’s Church.

Activities for children

Free activities for children at the People’s Hall, St Andrew’s, Main St and Farfield Mill.
Don’t miss the old-fashioned ‘seaside’ photo board at  Tourist Information Office.

Artisan Market and Art Festival

The Artisan Market will be at its usual location on Main St from 9.30am – children can search for hidden sheep. Find the Art Festival in the Library.

Free admission to Sheepfest, the Wool Fair, exhibitions and activities.

Car parking and bus

Free parking at Lupton Field on Saturday 26 Aug
Pay and Display in town car parks.
Free shuttle bus between sites, including Farfield Mill.
