We, the members of Sedbergh Art Society, are looking forward to exhibiting the exciting range of pictures we have been creating over the past 12 months. Most of the pictures will be for sale, as will a variety of greetings cards.
At present we have 36 members in the Society. We range from the very experienced, including professional artists, to those who are starting out, or reviving old skills. One thing we all have in common is our enjoyment in being creative.
We offer the opportunity to members to spend time in the good company of like-minded people, where the atmosphere is friendly and supportive. We enjoy discussing our work in an informal way. We have a group which meets every Wednesday afternoon in the Conference Room of the People’s Hall and also whole-day Painting days/workshops approximately every third Saturday in the Cornerstone Community Church Hall. These are sometimes led by a visiting professional artist.
