Some other events in June 2026
Most will know but for anyone new to the area, we get VERY busy for major football competitions, even more so as we progress through the tournament.
We do not reserve tables, it’s on a first come first serve basis so please ensure you leave yourself enough time before the matches to get served and seated / stood where you get a good view of one of multiple large screens.
On Saturday 27th we will be throwing a pre match warm up party from 7pm with Gavla who will be performing his Indie bangers and more!See less
have recently launched a nature walk/tour business and will be holding my first walk in Sedbergh on the 23rd of June, which will be a birdwatching walk along then River Rawthey. Hopefully we will see Kingfisher, Grey Wagtail, Dipper, Common Sandpiper, and more.
Numbers are strictly limited and booking is essential, which can be done either through the eventbrite link or by emailing overthefield@protonmail.com
I have set up a Facebook page for my business which I shall put in the comments below. This will be where I shall post updates about events, short posts about wildlife I see in and around Sedbergh (and beyond), and also where I shall share tips on how to enjoy and identify British wildlife.
Weekly market every Wednesday with stalls of fruit, meat, baking, fish , eggs etc and books and bric-a-brac
