Tracing its origins to 1924 as ‘The Wireless Chorus’, the BBC Singers are the only full time professional British chamber choir. Conducted currently by Swedish mezzo Sofi Jeannin the 21 singers perform a wide range of choral music and promote a 50:50 gender policy for composers whose work they undertake.
They tour throughout the UK and overseas and work with a wide range of other musicians.
