Spend a wonderfully creative day immersed in the art of needle felting, inspired by the beauty of nature and the cosy charm of the changing seasons. This relaxed and welcoming workshop is perfect for beginners and those with some felting experience who would like to develop their skills further.
Morning Session — 3D Felted Woodland Mushroom
Begin the day by creating your own enchanting 3D needle felted mushroom sculpture inspired by woodland walks and the quiet magic of nature.
You’ll learn how to transform soft wool fibres into a sculpted three-dimensional piece using traditional needle felting techniques. Charlotte will guide you step-by-step through shaping your mushroom, safely using felting needles, and building form and structure.
Once the base shape is complete, the real creativity begins as you add colour, shading, and personality to your piece using your own choice of tones and decorative details. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a completely unique handcrafted mushroom sculpture to treasure.
Afternoon Session — Cosy Autumn Pumpkin
In the afternoon, settle into a cosy seasonal workshop creating a beautiful needle felted pumpkin decoration.
Using a rich selection of autumn-inspired wools, you’ll learn techniques including shaping, layering colour, adding texture, and creating realistic pumpkin details. Whether you prefer traditional autumn shades or something more whimsical and colourful, your pumpkin will be entirely your own creation.
This enjoyable and relaxing session is ideal for anyone looking to embrace autumn creativity while learning skills you can continue using in future felting projects.
