Join Jess for a day exploring abstract art making including drawing, painting, collage, and printing using the theme of rural and manmade landscapes.
The focus will be on mark making, expressive colour, describing texture, consideration of composition and design, simplification of shapes and selecting and editing work.
Jess will guide you through the processes of; polystyrene print, geli plate monoprint, abstract expressive drawing and mark making using a range of exercises and materials to create energetic artworks, and mixed media collage.
You will be provided with all the tools and materials you need.
Items to bring: Please wear old clothes and bring an apron.
