The Sedbergh area acquired a mountain in 2016 when a more accurate measurement of Calf Top by Ordnance Survey found its height to be 2000.02 ft.
The 2016 display is on Saturday 5 November and admission is free. It is being held at the People’s Hall Playing Field on Howgill Lane. The firework displays will be at 7 and 7.30pm. This year there won’t be a bonfire or lantern competition. There will be refreshments – Thai food, burgers, sweets, mulled wine and tea and coffee – available in the People’s Hall car park.
