The school is a Technology College and is one of nine small schools in Cumbria that form a ‘Rural Academy’, enabling them to share teaching skills and offer a wider range of subjects than would otherwise be possible.
There is no sixth form at Settlebeck but students are encouraged to broaden their horizons by looking beyond this small community and choosing the combination of courses which best suits their future needs from the many available in our surrounding area.
