Starts in Back Lane, goes along the face of the Howgills, over the shoulder of Baugh Fell, up from Danny Bridge and home along the main road, and finishes on Lupton field . There is a plaque on the wall on Loftus Hill recording the records set.
Back Lane will be closed for up to 20 min when the race starts
