Rebecca Andrew-CroweThe book funds Rebecca’s dream of HOPE rooms with A&E departments and HOPE care packages, a bid to reform mental health services. Less publicly, it is also to drive more focus with the powers that be at transplant centres in the UK for a new pathway for those patients who live waiting, voicing that the mental wellbeing of these patients is paramount despite their physical illnesses.

Aside from writing, Rebecca works in medicine and enjoys many personal challenges for charity, she has just got back from a successful climb to Everest Base Camp for the Blood Cancer Research Charity Bloodwise, and is busy planning her next adventure for next year. ‘Minded to Bar’, Rebecca’s first novel is out in 2019, along with the follow up to One Day At A Time in 2020.

Rebecca will be giving a short talk followed by a book signing. Books will be on sale at the event.
