About Nanna Strawberry – “The name ‘Nanna Strawberry’ was bestowed on me by my first great grandchild, Sophie, because she could not say my name Audrey ! This inspired me to write my first book at age 80, about our outing to New Brighton, a small seaside town on the banks of the River Mersey near Liverpool Bay, Sophie gleefully calling out ‘Nanna Strawberry’ at every opportunity.

I then went on to write eleven more anecdotal stories, dipping in and out of my childhood experiences of special times with my own three children, nine great grandchildren and now three great grandchildren.. It has been great fun!

Audrey’s books will be on sale at the event.
