Moorcock Show

A traditional and one of the oldest Yorkshire Dales sheep show, where you can see the best of the local breeds. Soak up the atmosphere at a traditional annual agricultural show – this is a Dales treat not to be missed. Long at the heart of communities, this show can be traced back well over a century and has its own distinct local traditions and rituals. You’ll typically find sheep classes, home produce and crafts and walking stick carving, all set against the musical backdrop of a silver band. There will be plenty of delicious local food and drink to try. The day has always been a chance for isolated farming families to get together and share knowledge and experiences. Sheep judging starts 12 noon. Car parking free.
