Monday 1st August 2022 - Friday 5th August 2022 
The road will be closed to traffic each night. The plan is to complete the surfacing from Monday to Thursday and the road markings should be restored on the Friday night.
Unfortunately the diversion is significant so the works will have a big impact upon residents in the area.
The official diversion is via M6 J37 – J38. There will also be a signed diversion via Mallerstang for light vehicles, this route is not suitable for HGVs due to the 18T weight limit
As the work involves Environment Agency and Natural England – there are various complications/timings to consider
