Green Book

Set in the American Deep South in 1962, Green Book tells the heart-warming true story of Tony Lip (Viggo Mortensen), a working-class Italian-American bouncer who takes on a job as a chauffeur for Dr. Don Shirley (Mahershala Ali), a highly-educated African-American classical pianist.

“A supremely likeable film. Its message might seem obvious and its template overcooked, but it boasts a warm heart, with two astoundingly good lead performances to guide it home.” – Empire

Tickets available in advance from Sedbergh & District Information Centre, or on the door.

Please note the film starts at 8pm, doors open at 7.45pm.

There will be a short interval during the film.

Cushions are provided as the pews can get rather hard after a while, but feel free to bring more padding if you wish!
