Sedbergh Booktown Literary Trust and The Academy of Ideas present a debate entitled

Can we bridge the North-South Divide?

This year sees the 15th Battle of Ideas festival at the Barbican in London. We’re living in interesting times, and more than ever it feels like we need a space for interrogating ideas, open discussion and civilised debate.

In this 2019 Battle of Ideas satellite event a panel of speakers will introduce their thoughts on this subject. All audience members will have the opportunity to reply to the speakers arguments, or put their own point of view.

Speakers to be announced shortly.
