Join us for a fun day learning how to make a 3-Dimensional needle felted Herdwick, choosing between a Ewe or a Ram. The workshop will be led by local Artist and Felt maker Jane Bardgett who will guide you through each step, using 100% wool fibres, including the beautiful Herdwick wool, a couple of felting needles and a foam mat to work on. You will begin by creating shapes to form the body, legs, and head, followed by adding some detailed features then how to attach everything together. Finishing off with that iconic fleece coat, creating your own individual Herdy character to take home. By the end of your workshop, you will not only have learnt how to do 3-Dimensional needle felting but have the skills and knowledge to make more, start your very own flock of Herdwicks!

They make the perfect handmade Christmas gift for friends & family but be warned you may want to keep him or her for yourself!

What is included and what you also get to keep and take home is :-

100% real Wool fibres to make one Herdwick Ram or Ewe (that will roughly standing around 15 too 20cm tall) a foam mat to work on and two felting needles.
