Coronavirus News - 31st December 2020

Regrettably pubs, cafés and non essential shops have had to close again due to Sedbergh being subject to Tier 4 restrictions along with the rest of Cumbria. Some hospitality businesses will however continue to provide takeaway meals.

We are very sorry that you cannot visit us at the moment but we look forward to seeing you when restrictions are lifted in the future.

Customers include walkers, cyclists, and visitors to the town as well as locals and Sedbergh School pupils.

It was the brave venture, in 2011, of Beccy, who moved to Sedbergh from Kirkby Stephen to live with her husband. She wanted to be self-employed, spotted a gap in the market and On A Roll has given her a thriving business. She prides herself in the fact that all her ingredients are locally sourced, the fillings freshly made on the premises and the desserts are all home-made.

Beccy’s staff all live locally, so the shop can open at 8 am, in time to help people start their day; On A Roll closes at 2.30 pm and it is open every day except Sunday.
