Flicks in the Fells started in 2007 with their very first films at the People’s Hall – ‘Happy Feet’ in the afternoon, and ‘Atonement’ in the evening. They’re still going strong and have a fantastic group of volunteers who keep the moving pictures moving.
Based in Sedbergh, there are monthly screenings at the People’s Hall, in Dent Memorial Hall at least 3 or 4 times a year and occasionally at Barbon Village Hall. Please get in touch if you’d like the big screen bringing to your venue.
Due to the way that the films are distributed it’s not normally possible to announce the title of a screening until about 2 weeks before the event. When the information becomes available it will be displayed on our events calendar, the Flicks in the Fells Facebook page.
