This workshop will suit an absolute beginner and those with a little more experience wanting to explore Herringbone Tweed. The four shaft looms will be set up and ready to go. There will be a £5 charge for materials on the day.

Workshops are held in Farfield Mill’s dedicated Education Room on Level 2, or in the Bainside Studio on Level 4. Fresh coffee and tea is available for you to make throughout the day in the kitchen adjacent to your workshop space. You can buy a delicious lunch in Weavers Café or bring a packed lunch to eat in the workshop room.

To book, please call 015396 21958 to reserve your place and request a booking form and information, or email centremanager@farfieldmill.org, stating clearly which workshop you are interested in. Your place on the workshop will be confirmed on receipt of your completed booking form and payment.
