Brunches of the World

Food from countries around the world, including Turkey, Egypt, France, Spain and Italy served from 8am to 2pm at the Dalesman Inn throughout the festival.

Taste of the Dales

Choose from a selection of local platters in Weavers Café at Farfield Mill throughout the festival.

Sedbergh Heritage Exhibition

Find out about local food from the past to the present, the agricultural community, the impact of rationing in WWII, historic public houses in Sedbergh and food associated families and shops. The exhibition will be at Farfield Mill throughout the festival except on Saturday 10th June when it will be at the Festival Food Market.

Afternoon Tea

In the Mad Hatters Tea Room at No 6 Finkle Street daily throughout the festival and a “Mad Hatter’s Tea Party” with optional fancy dress on Sunday 11th and 19th June.

Tastes of India

Two evenings at the the Malabar celebrating the cuisine of India using the best Cumbrian produce on Thursday June 8th for light and fresh dishes from South India and Thursday June 15th for rich aromatic dishes from North India.

Puddings Galore

Enjoy an evening meal at Smatt’s Duo Café on Thursday 8th June with lots of puddings to chose from.

Festival Food Market

Saturday 10th June, 9:30am to 3:00pm in Sedbergh Main Street.

Open Farm Sunday

Sunday 11th June at Lockbank Farm, home of Howgill Fellside Ice Cream.The title for the film is still to be confirmed

Washoku Japanese Taster Evening

Sunday 11th June at the Three Hares Café.

Cupcake Competition

Come and view the results of a cupcake making competition for the children at Sedbergh Primary School on Monday 12th June.

Festival Film Night

Tuesday 13th June in the People’s Hall.
The title for the film is still to be confirmed. More details will be shown here when available.

Cakes and Bakes with Nina from Three Hares

Have you ever sat in the Three Hares, adoringly looking at the homemade cakes & bakes wondering ‘just how do they make those?’ Come along for a fun filled afternoon with ‘hands on’ baking and making! Followed by a cuppa, and freshly baked cake whilst enjoying the fabulous views at Howgills Barn on Thursday 15th June.

Thai Night

Enjoy a Thai meal at Smatt’s Duo Café prepared by Aie the guest chef on Thursday 15th June.

Dine and Bubbles

Fancy a relaxing evening at Howgills Barn as Nina demonstrates how to cook a starter, main and desert? It will be a very hands on session with you preparing, cooking and barbecuing locally foraged seasonal ingredients and rare breed meats. The cost of the evening includes the demonstration, all of the ingredients, a three course dinner and drinks of your choice (wine, beer, soft drinks). Plus a soak in the hot tub which sits at the bottom of the fell (only if you want to!). Thursday 15th June
