The Tourist Office carries a comprehensive range of maps guidebooks, postcards and souvenirs. The Tourist Office would be happy to help you with your telephone, written or email enquiries and supply any items you require so you can find out about the area before you visit. The Community Office is located above the Tourist Information Centre, access is from Joss Lane Car Park.
Cumbria Police
Although there is a police station on Long Lane it does not have a drop in facility for the public. If you wish to contact the local police for non-emergency matters you can 'phone them on 0845 3300247. You should only dial 999 for emergency calls.
People's Hall
The People's Hall is a venue for many Sedbergh events. There is a main hall (seating up to 250) with a stage and bar facilities, an adjoining committee room and a kitchen. The main hall and committee room are available for hire at reasonable rates.
The People's Hall is located in Howgill Lane, a short walk up the hill from the Dalesman in Main Street.
