Tickets: £7.50, Children free
The Dalston Male Voice Choir (Reg. Charity No. 1119093) was founded in February 1985 and is celebrating its Silver Jubilee this year. The Choir has about 35 members. The objects of the Choir are to advance male voice singing by presentation of Public Concerts, to help charitable causes and to give encouragement to young musicians like Myrna Tennant.
Myrna Tennant is 15 and singing is her main passion. She also plays the flute, piano and guitar. Myrna regularly performs in local festivals and concerts. She has previously been a guest soloist with the Dalston Male Voice Choir, the Brampton Chamber Choir and the Solway Singers. In January this year she was accepted into the Junior Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, with voice as her first choice and piano as second. In March this year, for the second year running, she won the Sam Bellingham Memorial Trophy for the best junior
