A group of friends with an eclectic taste in music, who have delighted audiences across the North West since 1998, will sing their a capella arrangements of a wide variety of music from folk to contemporary classics and blues.

Five in A Bar, a group of friends with an eclectic taste in music, formed in 1998 for the sheer joy of singing. They’ve since performed across the North West, singing their a capella arrangements of a wide variety of music from folk and traditional to contemporary classics and blues. With their flair for improvising harmonies Five in a Bar use their guiding maxim“songs of meaning sung with feeling” to choose the songs they sing and make them their own.

The five are; Jude Glendinning, Anne Green, Val Macconnell, Diane Sammons and Carole Wood.
