Martin Bell
Martin Bell, a journalist famous for his BBC reports from war-torn areas of the world and one-time Independent MP elected on an anti-sleaze platform, asks where did it all go wrong? Martin’s book The Truth That Sticks has just been published in paperback and for this talk he will offer what amounts to a crushing analysis of a decade of deception, dishonesty and abuse of power. Needless to say this will be a talk that is delivered with precision and great passion.
“Martin Bell finds sophistry, venality, illegality and arrogant abuse of power that has dishonoured individuals and corrupted the public trust. The charge sheet, competently and concisely drawn up, is shocking.” The Times.
